A representative of the NGO Young Roma participated at the training for Strengthening Montenegro's asylum system and migration management

A representative of the NGO Young Roma, Ibrahim Tatars took part in training organized by CEDEM which has been issued in the framework of the project: Strengthening Montenegro's asylum system and migration management. The training was held on 12th and 13th of May 2017, in Budva. The mentioned project aims to contribute to the development of policy management of migration in Montenegro and affirms the greater participation of non-governmental organizations and the media in the development and implementation of these policies.
During the training the following topics were covered: Migration flows in the Western Balkans; Changes in the system of migration management - national, regional and EU / NATO perspective; The experience of Bosnia and Herzegovina in building management system of migration - a review of the legislative framework and practices; The role of NGOs in monitoring policies on asylum and migration management.
Participants of training were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the process of migration management, with the best approach for suitable communication with returnees from abroad, as well as to exchange experiences and information with colleagues from the region, which will contribute to a better and more integrated approach to solving problems at the regional level.
