Handicraft Bazaar in light of International Women's Day

On Sunday, the 8th of March, a traditional handicraft bazaar was held in Herceg Novi. This is an annual event organised by the Organization of Women Herceg Novi for 10 years now. About 20 exhibitors gathered around on the ground floor of the former department store "Mješovito" in the period from 10 am to 18 pm. 

In addition to the organizers, the exhibition was attended by representatives of the Russian Cultural Centre, NGO Chance, but also guests from Budva, Tivat and Risan, as well as representatives of the NGO Young Roma. The offer was varied, and the visitors were offered unique handicrafts, jewelry, decoupage, stained glass, aromatic sweets, cakes, honey products, articles of stone, pieces of folk costumes, and many other interesting artifacts.

The president of the Organization of Women Herceg Novi, Ms Ivanka Laković, announced that the event is organized in the spirit of humanitarian character as every year. The portion of the revenue from this year's exhibition will be deposited to the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer - Phoenix, for the treatment of a six-year-old David from Herceg Novi.
